Blackwell’s is looking for a skilled technical lead/senior developer with proven experience across front and and back end technology to be a key member of our team. You will be leading a small development team to deliver an ambitious project at what is a very exciting time for Blackwell’s. You’ll have knowledge of current and upcoming digital technologies with an interest in mobile and be able to define the technical direction of the project.
You’ll be passionate about design led technology development, about making the world a better place and working to build your own team.
The Tech Lead will work very closely with the Project Lead to deliver a web and mobile based app.

Skills & Experience

Inspiring and effective team leader
Excellent understanding of web and mobile technology - especially HTML (5), CSS (3)
Broad knowledge about web standards and protocols
Experience in using popular client-side Frameworks and Tools like jQuery (Mobile), Sencha Touch, ExtJS, YUI, Modernizr and HTML5 Boilerplate
Experience in creating web applications with server-side technologies like PHP, Java, .NET, Ruby on Rails etc.
Expertise in connecting to data sources (Ajax, Web Services, XML, JSON)
Creativity and high level of self-motivation
Diligence, reliability and excellent analytical skills
