Poor sleep affects millions of people in the UK. In fact, 38% of people suffer from at least one insomnia symptom, with a quarter of those experiencing chronic insomnia, at any one time.

Despite the vast number of people struggling with their sleep, only a tiny proportion has access to anything other than sleeping pills.

That’s where we come in. Sleepio is a digital sleep improvement program featuring proven cognitive and behavioural techniques, which takes your personal sleep data and turns it into behavioural medicine.

Co-Founded by entrepreneur Peter Hames and Oxford University psychologist Professor Colin Espie, Sleepio has been proven to be many times more effective than sleeping pills.

The role
From day 1 you’ll be getting stuck into learning about Sleepio and the digital healthcare space, engaging with the wider healthcare community via our blog and social media channels and getting to know the fast-growing community of Sleepio members.

You’ll be taught the fundamentals of SEO and be expected to develop your own ideas for how best to put them into practise. You’ll gain first-hand experience of PR, liaising with journalists and bloggers to find and create opportunities for Sleepio to be featured online and in print.

We want someone who is going to add real value to Sleepio, and in return we will make sure that you learn tons, gain first-hand experience of digital marketing and get exposure to our wide network of experts and advisors.

Who we’re looking for
You will be smart and energetic with the confidence to put ideas forward and make mistakes, and the ability to learn quickly from them and work hard to get things right.

We’re not concerned about your background, age or education – brains and attitude are much more important.
