OpenSignal is building the most comprehensive data set on wireless networks in the world. We want to know which mobile networks are the best in any area, where the best wi-fi hotspots are located and how you can get better signal on your cell phone in realtime.

We've had over 2.5million people download our application to date and have worked with the BBC, TIME Magazine, Forbes to publicize our reports on wireless. We've also recently closed our seed round of $1.3million from a fantastic set of investors: O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, Passion Capital and Qualcomm Ventures to ramp things up to the next level.

The role:

Create beautiful and clear visualizations and info-graphics based on our unique dataset.
Work on the design of the OpenSignal website, Android and iOS applications.

You're fluent in things like Photoshop, Illustrator and CSS.
You design for mobile apps and websites of all sorts of screen sizes and have a broad portfolio of cool stuff to prove it.
Experience with javascript, d3, and HTML5 is great but not crucial.
You like to make designs that are simple, elegant and scale well across screen sizes.
You are pedantic about pixels ... but can work to a deadline.
