up to £25k depending on experience

You will be working within a small, vibrant team environment, right in the heart of Soho. This position is very much ‘Full Stack’ and you will be expected (and encouraged!) to acquire new skills and make decisions on which components, frameworks and systems we will use to deliver the best experience for our clients.

Situated in London (in our Soho space) and also with the opportunity to work from home, you will be working with a varied client base. You will provide web development and maintenance often contributing towards our bespoke solutions. We also have two major branded clients with on-going projects to get stuck in on from day one.

This would be the ideal opportunity for a recent computer science graduate or web developer with a few years’ experience hoping to get their teeth into some juicy work. We can offer you a chance to expand your depth of knowledge and acquire key skills in the development and deployment of websites and web apps. We are looking for a vital, innovative individual who is passionate about web development. The ability to quickly learn new skills and an interest in the most up to date web solutions is probably the most important requirement of this role.

You will need to have solid experience in the following areas:
Expertise in PHP and MySQL. An understanding of object-oriented programming
JavaScript, including the use of front-end framework libraries such as jQuery, etc.
Server knowledge on how to set up and maintain site and app installations. Particularly standard WordPress and MySQL deployments on Linux servers hosting packages.
Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as WP, Expression Engine, DotNetNuke, Kentico.
Solid HTML5 and CSS3 skills. An appreciation of best practice techniques and knowledge of new browser features.
Some experience with front end frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap and Zurb Foundation.
Fluent written and spoken English.
