ZoneFutures is a digital products incubator, backed by leading digital agency Zone. We are building a team around one of our products: a highly innovative digital distribution platform for film, offering new models of content engagement and revenue generation, aimed at a global audience. We are a small team with extensive experience in content creation and distribution, and deep expertise in .NET development for clients ranging from small charities to global brands.

We are looking for a talented mid to senior level .NET developer to work closely with the platform’s Tech Lead. Joining early in the platforms’ realisation, there is significant scope to shape the offering through an agile build process.

Skills and Requirements:
• 3+ years experience with the .NET framework (3.5 and up) and related technologies, using C#
• 2+ years experience with ASP.NET MVC
• Working knowledge of modern front end technologies (HTML5, JQuery etc), and experience of working with front end specialists
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly when necessary and to be self sufficient
• Confidence to demonstrate work in progress to others, and to rapidly incorporate feedback

Nice to have…a degree of expertise in any of:
• Front end frameworks such as Knockout.js or Angular.js
• Responsive design
• Video encoding / streaming techniques
• Entity Framework
• Teamcity / other CI system
• Lucene (Or other search technology)
• Agile development and project management techniques
• Unit testing / mocking / IoC pattern
• Automated testing using Selenium Webdriver
• Amazon S3 and related technologies
• A/B testing tools
• Social APIs (Facebook, Twitter etc)
• MS Web API
• Open source CMS (e.g. Umbraco)
• Active GitHub account
• Another language / framework (e.g. perhaps Python/Django)

Co-located with Zone in central London. Immediate start, although flexible for the right candidate. Closing date: 12noon Friday 2nd August 2013
