Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Co-Founders, the Digital Community Manager will work in conjunction with the Sporple team to plan and guide the digital and social media strategy
Manage the Facebook page, including regular activity and ongoing competitions, working with partner social media agency when appropriate
Support, manage and create regular online content production, including films, interviews, stories and posts for the website and social media channels
Responsible for the bi-monthly e-Newsletter
Prepare quarterly evaluation of website and social media performance
Liaise with marketing and PR teams as well as other sports agencies and teams where appropriate
Support of weekly status report and meetings
Ability to work resourcefully (both independently and in teams), knowing when to escalate an issue

Skills & Experience Required

Experience of online sports marketing and passion for sports
Ideal experience would include management of social community for an online sports website, publication or team
High level working knowledge of digital and social media channels, understanding the latest trends and technology
Must have excellent attention to detail and all-round strong organisational skills
Excellent people management and communication skills
Must be able to work autonomously and proactively,
